WEDNESDAY WISDOM: Let’s talk about lens materials! At RLVNT, we chose to use Trivex lenses, but do you know why? Not all lens materials are created equal. Trivex is the best in class for a plano sunglasses for its durability, safety, and visually appealing optics. Other lens materials don’t even come close to all the bells and whistles that Trivex offers. Once you get into higher prescription strengths, that’s when other lens materials start to make more sense. People with higher RX’s need to consider thickness and weight on top of durability and visual acuity when choosing a lens material. For general plano lenses or lower prescriptions, however, trivex is the crème de la crème. (Shout out to our new French customers).
