Time on the Water was created with one goal in mind: to thank our Military, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMT/EMS as well as health care professionals, and teachers for their sacrifice. We provide an all-expenses-paid fishing trip to Lake of the Woods, Ontario for five days and schedule several, local day fishing trips in the Midwest. Please contact us if you know someone who has served their country and is fond of fishing. If you'd like to help but don't have the spare time consider donating or becoming a sponser.
Hometown Hero Outdoors is a charitable non profit helping our countries heroes build healthy relationships within the community. We like to think of it as a sort of recreational therapy. A way to get off the couch and outdoors with like minded individuals with similar backgrounds. Our mission is to assist law enforcement officers , service members, and veterans with the challenge of integrating into civilian life.
We at the Outreach Program of Brainerd lakes have made it our goal to provide food to the hungry. This year we hope to pack 260,000 meals to malnourished children in the area. By taking part in the competition you'll get a full day of fishing, a chance to take home some prize money, as well as raise money for those in need. Unable to attend? We're losing 6,000 acres of habitat every day. At the National Wild Turkey Federation we're working to fight this. Our goal is to conserve wildlife habitat and protect our hunting heritage. After years of dedicated work the turkey population of North America has hit an all time high at 7 million. However, our work is far from over. In the next 10 years the NWTF hopes to improve 4 million acres of wildlife habitat as well as open 500,000 acres of land for hunters.
