Why did we create the red mirror?
At RLVNT, we believe in using science to help us create the best products on the market for our customers. This means when we develop a new coating, we are not developing it for looks but for function. After all, our customers are out there adventuring day in and day out. They need a product that is not just for looks but helps them get the edge on their environment or in their competition.
Each of our lens coatings has special qualities that give an adventurer the edge they need to go further. Our Red Mirror Coating was developed after speaking with athletes and tournament fishermen who live and play in red landscapes. This can look like fishing iron-rich waters or mountain biking on red roads.
We knew we wanted to turn down red in the environment and turn up green and blue. This would give the eye the ability to pick up on more colors and contrast than just the red of the environment.
After many trial wears and feedback from our testers, our Red Mirror coat was perfected. Perfect for anyone who lives in red environments such as Nevada or Utah, fishes iron-rich waters, drives red dirt roads, or finds their eyes more relaxed when red is turned down in the environment around them.
Pair with our Chameleon Lens Base to experience light adjusting qualities, Grey Lens Base for sensitive eyes (no light adjusting), or a Brown Lens Base for a happy medium (no light adjusting but not as dark as the Grey Lens Base).
